Fish looking at Salvador Wormi's painting "The Persistence of Worms"

Where Dalí once painted melting time, Salvador Wormi from a parallel universe lets worms twist and writhe. For us humans, it is surrealism; for fish, it is almost a still life with food. Everything inside the painting is linked by one food chain: apple, worms, fish, hunger, art, and the viewer. We look at the fish, the fish look at the painting, and the worm in the painting looks back at us.
