Afterimage

In the third painting, the cow is already gone. Only an acid-pink silhouette remains, like the trace after a flash, an imprint on the retina, or a place that reality did not have time to erase completely. I wanted the disappearance not to feel empty, but intensely visible. The cow has vanished, yet her absence has become brighter than the cow herself. This is no longer the scene of the abduction, but that strange after-state when the event is over and its trace is still glowing.
