Moo Abduction

In the second painting, what was hiding in the sky has already become an event. At night a cow is being pulled into the beam of a UFO, and an ordinary pastoral scene turns into a small cosmic drama. But I like that this abduction feels not only disturbing, but also a little absurd and tender. The cow seems not to understand why she was chosen for an intergalactic experiment, yet she remains a cow even at the moment of contact with the unknown. Or perhaps she is returning to her own kind.
