The Sighting

What I like in the first painting is that the strangeness does not reveal itself at once. At first it is simply a cow in a field, standing there and looking at us with ordinary bovine calm. And then, if you look more carefully, somewhere in the sky a small flying saucer appears. I wanted to catch the moment when reality has not yet fallen apart, but has already begun to glitch a little. As if everything around is still just a normal pasture, yet somewhere in the background another story has already begun.
